  • Ph.D Dissertation:  An Investigation of the ATPRP Localization, Function, and the Structural Requirements for PRP Stability Within the Arabidopsis thaliana Cell Wall.

Current Student Projects:

  • Examining the diversity of Proline-rich Protein gene sequences in common angiosperms.  This project uses genetic approaches to identify, sequence, and catalog proline-rich protein genes (PRP's) in angiosperms.
  • Microarray analysis of cell wall synthesis in root hairs of Arabidopsis thaliana.  This project uses a large Microarray data set to identify and examine proteins required for proper deposition and function of AtPRP3 within the root hairs of Arabidopsis seedlings.
