Southern Adventist University is a wonderful place to work and attend classes. Students have made a great choice by becoming a part of this university family. Without the students, the real life of this university is missing. Eder welcomes the opportunity to get acquainted with each one of her students!

The Bible text from Jeremiah 29:11 is an important one that talks about God’s thoughts and plans for each of us. This journey has taken Eder to spend her elementary years in Lincoln, Nebraska, and she has also lived in Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and now back to Tennessee. Perhaps, you share a state in common with Eder.

She earned an EdD from the University of Tennessee in 2000. She has taught in two different public school districts in South Dakota and Georgia. In the Adventist education system, Eder has taught 7th and 8th grade in Collegedale and has been a superintendent of schools. The Social Sciences and leadership are very strong interests of hers, and she continues to read on a variety of topics in those areas along with more general education topics. Her spiritual journey has also provided many growth opportunities, but God has always been faithful.

She encourages students to stop by and share your aspirations, struggles, and blessings. She looks forward to helping students along God’s thrilling journey for their life.
