Ronda Stone is very excited about being back at her Alma mater working with student teachers and counseling interns.  After graduating from Southern Adventist College (now Southern Adventist University), she spent the next 12 years teaching grades 5 through 9 in the Southern Union while earning her Master of Education in Reading Education and  Master of Arts in Counselor Education.

Upon completion of her counseling degree, Professor Stone went to work for Hospice of the Comforter coordinating their children’s grief program in central Florida schools as well as opening a counseling office and becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  She later moved to California with her family, where she worked as an AD/HD coach before returning to Collegedale with her husband and two daughters.

Professor Stone believes the opportunity to help prepare the next generation of teachers and counselors is a real privilege.  She loves the opportunity to spend time getting to know students and encouraging them on the path that God has chosen for them.
