Education is such a fundamental element in an individual’s life because it can change someone’s life for the better or worse. However, little is known about how a teacher/professor plays a role in a student’s life. The purpose of this study was to compare student’s learning with their teacher’s style, personality of the teacher, and their relationship with the teacher. Since not many studies have researched the effects on learning and the gender of the teacher or student and ethnicity, this study will do so. With adding these factors into research, results may be able to increase the knowledge on how teachers or school psychologists can make a stronger impact in a student’s life. Overall, the results of this study were not statistically significant. However, it was found that student’s life. The purpose of this study was to compare student’s learning with their teacher. The research studies described for the literature review were found in databases, PsycArticles, EBSCOhost, Education Resources Information Center (ERIC).
