BA, Southern Adventist University
MA, Andrews University

Amanda Livanos wanted to be a teacher since her first day of first grade. While spending a year teaching English as a Second Language as a Student Missionary, she experienced how exciting and rewarding the ministry of teaching can be. She hopes her classroom is a safe place for her students to grow in their abilities to think and communicate clearly and intelligently.

Livanos graduated with a BA from Southern Adventist University and an MA from Andrews University. She is excited to be back at her alma mater teaching writing and ESL as an Instructor in the English Department. Some of Livanos' interests include reading, writing, cooking, hiking, and traveling. She believes strongly that the happiest and healthiest people live in a balanced manner, finding time for friendship, exercise, sleep, service, and of course a deep relationship with God. She looks forward to helping her students reach such a balance as they pursue learning at Southern.
