Stephanie Guster holds a master’s degree in social work from Ohio State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in both Tennessee and Georgia. Prior to joining the School of Social Work faculty, Professor Guster worked full-time as a school social worker in Dalton City Schools, while teaching as an adjunct professor for Southern Adventist University. Professor Guster brings additional adjunct experience of teaching several online masters courses for Simmons College in the areas of Racism and Oppression. Her background also includes providing clinical services while working in the area of hospice and bereavement.

School social work; clinical social work; bereavement, grief and loss; international social work
Professor Guster's hobbies include cooking, baking, writing, singing, international travel, and photography. She has the privilege of being married to J. M. Guster III and mommy to J. L. Guster. She is bilingual (English and Spanish) and loves most everything international.
Her favorite Bible text is: "He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?" (Micah 6:8, NKJV).

That I LOVE international travel and thus far have visited 21 countries (Antigua, Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Curacao, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Ghana, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Uruguay).
