Automotive

The Associate of Technology degree in Automotive Service is a two-year program and the Bachelor of Technology degree in Automotive service is a four-year program that concentrates on skills required by the automotive industry. A unique part of Southern's auto program is that students receive hands-on laboratory experience in our full-service auto shop that repairs cars for the community. In addition, during the last semester of the program, students spend 8-10 hours a week working in a local shop as a practicum.

Another unique part of Southern's technology program is the amount of business classes are required.  This prepares students to manage their own business in addition to providing good financial knowledge for life.
