Admission

Admission to the Lynn H. Wood Archaeological Museum is free.

Group Tours

We welcome groups to our museum, whether from schools, churches, clubs, or others interested in archaeology. Please arrange your visit at least two weeks in advance so we can have an adequate number of docents on hand. Call 423.236.2030 or e-mail museum@southern.edu for group reservations.

Groups of elementary & middle school students should include one adult for every 10 children.

Before your group visits the museum, you may wish to show a video, provide directed activities, encourage the group to explore internet resources (such as educational games), or provide appropriate books and magazines for them to read.
