Kerry Allen graduated from Southern Adventist University (then Southern College) in
1991 with an AS Degree in Nursing, then again in 1998 with a BS Degree in Nursing,
and 2009 with her Master of Science in Nursing Education.
Mrs. Allen is an Associate Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the School of Nursing. She serves as the liaison between the local healthcare facilities and other nursing programs for scheduling nursing clinical opportunities. She also currently teaches Simulation, Southern Connections, Introduction to Healthcare Informatics, and coordinates the RN/LPN Refresher course.
Mrs. Allen's past nursing experience includes oncology, medical-surgical, orthopedics, and telemetry and multiple experiences as a Travel Nurse. She is currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
She was born in Oslo, Norway and has lived in Mexico and eight other states and now loves living in Tennessee with her husband and two children. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and photography.
