Bio: A Navy brat, I have lived in a rich diversity of cultures. Married for 30 years to my best friend. We have two young adult sons and three sweet kitties.
Education: AS degree–Southern Adventist University, 1982; BS degree–Drexel University, 2004; MSN degree–Drexel University, 2006; Post-Master's FNP Certificate–Southern Adventist University, 2012; DNP degree–Southern University, 2014
Clinical: After stints in med-surg, pediatrics, long-term care, and office nursing, I found my niche in community health promotion and faith-based health ministry. I especially enjoy coaching lifestyle change in clinical and corporate wellness settings. When we moved to Collegedale, I completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree with an emphasis in lifestyle therapeutics. I also work part-time as a family nurse practitioner at the Volunteers in Medicine clinic in Chattanooga.

Interests: The three men in my life, reading, vegan cooking/baking, watercolor painting, running, biking, travel, and learning new things.
