Andy Nash has worked extensively in the publishing industry as a writer, editor, and
publisher. Nash has written more than a hundred magazine and newspaper articles and
has written or co-written four Christian books, including Paper God, a spiritual memoir.
Along with his teaching, Nash was the publisher of the award-winning Front Porch Magazine, a nationally-carried newspaper supplement with a circulation of 1.8 million. He also has been the editor of Adventist Today, assistant editor of Adventist Review, and consultant for Reader's Digest Association.
After completing undergraduate degrees in print journalism and English, Nash completed a Master's in English at Andrews University and a Ph.D. in Creative Nonfiction at the University of Nebraska.
After previously teaching in the English Department, Nash joined the School of Journalism and Communication in 2007. He teaches magazine and feature writing, literary journalism, news reporting, and public speaking.
Nash lives with his wife, Cindy, and three daughters, Ally, Morgan, and Summer. He and Cindy lead the Connect worship service of the Collegedale Church.
