Common Data Set

The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is a collaborative effort between data providers in the higher education community and publishers of information about colleges and universities.  It is a set of standardized, well-defined data items that facilitates the sharing of standard information across higher education institutions.  It is a primary source of information for prospective students who desire to learn more about Southern Adventist University.

The CDS is divided into ten categories:

A. General Information
B. Enrollment and Persistence
C. First-Time, First-Year(Freshmen) Admission
D. Transfer Admission
E. Academic Offerings and Policies
F. Student Life
G. Annual Expenses
H. Financial Aid
I. Instructional Faculty and Class Size
J. Degrees Conferred

Southern is pleased to participate in this initiative and to provide public access to our responses.  More information about the Common Data Set may be found by visiting www.commondataset.org.
