About Student Missions

The Student Missions program at Southern Adventist University began in 1967 with one Student Missionary. Since then, more 2,300 students have taken out a school year or summer to follow the calling God has placed in their hearts to serve around the nation and the world. The Student Missions program exists to help these students find their place to serve, and support them throughout the experience.

If you'd like to serve as a Student Missionary, come by the Campus Ministries office and sign up to get started on the application paperwork. We are always happy to answer any questions you might have along the way, or just talk through the decision with you. From paperwork, the Student Missions Orientation class and retreat, fundraising, and obtaining tickets and visas, we'll help the process go as smoothly as possible for you.
