Long Term Care Administration Program

The program is a part of the School of Business. The curriculum is very similar to the BS in Business Administration with the addition of four classes of long term care administration, the internship, and the Aging and Society class. Nearly 280 students have completed the program, and Southern graduates can be found in administrative positions throughout the United States.

A person who already has a business degree from another institution may be eligible to take the long term care classes to receive an additional 20 undergraduate credits and be prepared to sit for the national licensure exam.

The program is supported by the School of Business and Southern Adventist University administrators and has been received well in the community. Our graduates have passed board exams, hold licenses in a number of different states, and regularly assume administrative roles upon the completion of an AIT program.
