The Tutoring Center, formerly known as Learning Support Services (LSS), is located on the third floor of the Mckee Library. The Tutoring Center includes the programs Peer Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction (SI)
At the Tutoring Center, peer tutors provide an encouraging learning environment to assist students in developing the knowledge base and skills, and necessasry to become confident, independent, and active learners.
Sunday: 4 pm to 8 pm
Monday through Thursday: 9 am to 8 pm
Friday: 9 am to 12 pm
Tutoring services offers FREE peer tutoring sessions for
50+ lower division courses and 20+ upper division courses, as well as tutoring to help students with time management, study skills, reading skills, and ACT preparation.
Tutoring sessions are:
SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTION (SI):
SI offers FREE peer assisted study sessions for historically
difficult classes such as General Chemistry,General Biology,
General Physics, A&P, and Statistics.
