Technology in the Library


Computer Stations

Fifty computer stations are available for students, faculty, and staff use.  Sixteen of them are available near the front desk for community guests.  All stations have the Microsoft Office suite, SDA Bible Commentary, and Mathematica.  Three computer stations on the main floor have BibleWorks and all stations on the second floor have SPSS installed.


Laptops are available for students and faculty to borrow from the circulation desk. They may be used in the library for up to four hours. View the Laptop Checkout Agreement »


Students, faculty, and staff may check out iPads and Microsoft Surface tablets for one week.  


Students, faculty, and staff may check out TI-30X calculators for one week.


All patrons may check out headphones in exchange for ID while in the library.

Printing & Scanning

You may print wirelessly to the black and white or color printer in the library periodicals area from anywhere on campus.  Campus ID cards or department cards are required for copies and printouts. You may add money to your card at the ID Card desk located in Wright Hall. Visitors may ask for help at the circulation desk or periodicals desk.  You may scan a document to your email for free from the printer in the periodicals department.

Media Viewing

DVDs from the Media collection may be viewed on the public computer stations. Arrangements can be made to view VHS tapes by contacting Stan Cottrell.
