Physics Summer Research Opportunities

Physics and engineering majors should plan on getting a summer job related to their chosen profession. In addition to providing invaluable professional experience, many of these jobs pay quite well.

Most state universities with a physics department offer paid summer research opportunities (often including travel and lodging) through the REU or similar federal programs.

The Society of Physics Students SPS job board includes many internship opportunities.
