Poverty Simulation PosterIn partnership with the Community Action Network, Southern’s School of Social Work invites you to participate in a Poverty Simulation training. This is an interactive, immersion experience that gives participants a glimpse into the structural barriers facing individuals living on low income. Participants will gain the skills necessary to plan, promote, direct, and facilitate a Poverty Simulation in their own community.

“It makes me want to learn more about helping the community.”
“I really felt the stress of being poor and overwhelmed.”
