Parents Weekend 2023. Enjoy a weekend with your student and experience a taste of life at Southern.
Below is a tentative schedule for Parents Weekend 2023.
Friday - Feb. 17
Registration - 8am-10pm Thatcher & Talge Hall
Classes - Attend with your student, 8am-2pm
Vespers - 7:30pm, University Church
Sabbath - Feb. 18
Sabbath school and worship services - Attend with your student
Nature opportunities - Origins Exhibit in Hickman Hall, Campus Trails, Collegedale
Greenway, Chattanooga Riverwalk
Evensong - 6pm College Church
Pops Concert - 8pm
Sunday - Feb. 19
Brunch featuring Marty Essen. Around the World in 90 Minutes
10am, Dining Hall (RSVP required by Feb 5th).
Hotel Amenities
There are multiple hotels in the area that you can use for lodging. If you use any
of the following in Ooltewah, mention that you are here for a Southern event and you
should receive a discount on the price: Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, SpringHill Suites.
