Your career counselor will assist in determining which assessments to use to help you better identify your strengths, interests, values, and personality preferences. Many tools are available for the process, and career counseling helps ensure accurate interpretation of the assessment results. These tools include assessments that gauge their academic fit (such as the College Major Scorecard), interests (the Strong Interest Inventory), values (the Work Values Inventory), abilities (the Career Ability Placement Survey) and personality (the Jung Typology Test).
