More About Southern

stefanThank You for Giving to Help Students Like Stefan

As a student missionary in Tchad, Africa, Stefan Heisler became very involved.

However, he had been feeling discouraged and underappreciated in his efforts. "Sometimes the people you're working with have no concept of what you've given up to go work with them," Stefan says, "You can't blame them for it... but you can't deny all the feelings of your heart and your memories."

Then the surprise of a scholarship award notification lifted his spirits.  "God shows Himself faithful to those who are faithful," he says, "even when they feel forgotten and underappreciated."
