Thank You for Giving to Help Students Like Jason

In a sobering phone call with his dad, Jason learned that he would be on his own with the funding of his graduate degree plans. As the worries began to hit, something else dropped out of nowhere: a scholarship. "It was like God was showing me that I was going to be taken care of" says Jason.

Jason, along with many other students, always dreamed about the concept of someone valuing him and what he could do. It wasn't until he received a scholarship that he felt like somebody did care about him and where he was going. "The feeling of being invested in," he says, "empowered me to move forward."

Southern Opens Market Research Institute

This month, students have a new opportunity to gain valuable marketing experience while cultivating the student scholarship fund. After much work and planning, the School of Business Management opened the Market Research Institute, located in Fleming Plaza (on Southern's campus). The institute will administer market research and demographic analysis for businesses in and around the area.

Chapter Meetings 2010

Alumni and friends of Southern Adventist University are invited to attend one of these upcoming complimentary events:

       · Sunday, February 28 - Avon Park, Florida
          9 a.m. brunch in the fellowship hall,
          Avon Park Adventist Church.

       · Saturday, March 6 - Winterfest, Colorado - 7 p.m. supper in the
          banquet room of La Quinta Inn & Suites, Silverthorne, Colorado.
