Story Abstract

Story

Well, the kids seem to really be in a routine now… I’m finding myself praying the lessons taught them thus far in life are something they hold on to. I’m praying, most importantly, they put on Christ each day so they will appreciate Him, and have His thoughts & character. I’m also praying they have the discipline to plan their work, and work their plan, so they stay current and avoid that added stress of trying to catch up.

I can tell they are busy with school and life. It’s a bit harder to get in touch and stay in touch. I had a little leverage this week as I needed to get our son a camera for class (I’m delinquent)… I’m too picky (or is it overly analytical), and spend too much time researching to find just the right camera – balancing quality with cost. It was all good fodder for texting/conversation though.

I wish we had an opportunity to Video Chat this weekend, but it didn’t work out… I think I’ll redouble my efforts this week to gently get a feel for progress and homework, and encourage him to keep up the good fight… I’m really hoping he isn’t as much of a procrastinator as his old man… Please Lord help him to be more like his Mother in this area! LOL …

I’m thinking I’ll plan ahead this week and try to watch the online Vespers Friday… On Pacific Time, it’s a bit early… It would be great if the school stored just the most recent 4 weeks : )

I’m sure glad he is still loving SAU… He, and several of his friends, got a treat this week when one of their favorite teachers from Monterey Bay Academy traveled out to the area to see family and dropped by SAU to spend some time with them! How cool!!!!
