Story Abstract

Story

Wow, been so busy, I got way behind on these blogs. I thought I was just 1 behind, but it was more like 2! Yikes! Wish I knew where the time went! Scary…

Well this was my wife’s first birthday without all the kids present, so that was a new awareness. She has been a strong “texter” on her phone to keep in touch, but not so strong on the computer, so she has never tried facebook. She seemed open to trying an iPad, so I got her one, and I’m amazed how quickly she adapted! She is already a facebook expert, and having such a blast reconnecting with old friends from Union College. I know though the primary reason she wanted the iPad is so she could interact with our son there at SAU in a way she hadn’t before. It’s so great to see her having a new avenue to communicate and keep up on things happening in his life. I just hope she isn’t hovering too much on his page : )

It’s so encouraging to see our son digging in and working so hard to pull up his grades where needed. It’s tough for a phlegmatic to apply the self-determination so necessary to excel in the classes that aren’t his favorites. He is still enjoying SAU so much!

He finally got a job! He is working a bit doing Literature Evangelism work. I was so happy about this, because it helps ensure his walk with God stays strong. He mentioned how different it was from working in California. In CA, you don’t mention “Christian” so much, and in TN, you have to mention “Christian” : )

He’s going through so many wonderful learning experiences, and I continue to be very impressed with the school there. I find so many opportunities to tell about the great things of SAU…
