Story Abstract

Story

I sure wish I followed my own advice, and didn’t wait to get Christmas break airline tickets until prices were crazy! Perhaps one day I’ll learn… Of course our son’s timeline keeps changing as well. But waiting has it’s consequences. When you are coordinating to get those tickets and there are just 2 seats left, it gets interesting. I had the unfortunate experience of having events conspire against me, between forgetting to check my spam email folder for travel confirmation and the charges not showing up on my online activity as timely as I hoped, so I ended up with 2 holiday priced tickets! Ouch!!! This was a painful lesson I could have avoided if I just planned earlier. Perhaps one day I’ll learn…
: ) Somehow though in looking forward to, and highly valuing the quality time to come having our son home for Christmas, it dulls the pain a bit…

I know our son has been in the midst of the mad dash to finish the semester off. It’s almost in the history books though, as I get to pick him up tonight! How exciting! I hope you all have such a blessed Christmas!!!
