Story Abstract

Story

Well, Elizabeth came home for an extended weekend after finishing her first college course comp 101,at Smart Start. She was glad to be home and enjoy some free time. She spent most of her time going to visit friends and her boyfriend.

She loved Smart Start and getting to know more people and working. She meets a lot of people with her job. She shops at Walmart with her roommate for snacks, and food to keep in their dorm room. She eats a lot in her dorm room to help save money. Once the fall semester begins, I told her to eat in the cafe because she will have 1000 billed to her regardless.

She has been eating at the cafe like once a day and says it usually runs around ten dollars per meal. So, I think she will be fine by the end of the semester if she eats 10 dollars a day. If not, I'm sure there some hungry guys up there who need a free meal!

I was sad to see her leave again, but it was much easier this time around since we started with Smart Start. She is learning life skills as well as academics at SAU. She enjoys the school life and the social life. I am so thankful she is at an Adventist college and pray that God leads her in her career and future plans in life. She has not decided on a career yet, but they have great counselors there and she has met with some and is narrowing her search down. I think after she takes some classes this semester she can better decide as to what area she may prefer. She is taking mostly generals this semester. She is taking an Allied health class to see what is available and what would interest her.

Until next time, I will report on the fall semester!
