Story Abstract

Story

Hello again, finally the weather is turning cooler and fall is here. I really enjoyed having Elizabeth home for a short break. School is becoming more intense as the semester is more than half over. I can't believe how quickly the semester is flying by. With her research paper due, public speaking projects do finish, and a huge psychology test coming up, she is stressed with school.

I try to encourage her that it is only a few more weeks, then she will have all new classes.

Elizabeth has really enjoyed the sports program there at SAU. She has been playing football and has made some great friends. She had some major scrapes from playing but claims it is all worth the fun!

She is enjoying her Allied Health class, where different people come to share their careers with the kids. She has followed an occupational Therapist and is leaning that direction instead of nursing. She will be returning to shadow her again this week. I think it is awesome that the kids can have a chance to shadow different careers to help them decide what they should pursue in a life's career. Nursing is what she thought she would like, but not she is leaning more towards the OT or possibly the OTA program. SAU does not offer this program so she may finish her generals there, but will have to pursue Florida Hospital or some other college for this training. I wish they would start a program there.

So, there are more decisions on a life career and where to continue her education from here. We will pray that God will continue to lead in her life.
