Well, the semester if flying by so quickly. Thanksgiving break was wonderful to have Elizabeth home for a few days. She had most of her papers all written for this coming week and homework finished so she could come home and relax!
Only 2 more weeks of school then the dreaded finals! I hope she can retain her grades as finals approach. She is pretty certain that she wants to go into Occupational Therapy.
She has decided not to return to Southern Adventist University for the coming semester. She told me she has learned more this first semester at college than all four years of high school! So, that makes it all worth while. She enjoys the activities there but misses home. Also, she has to attend another school for OT. She had an awesome job here at home and they have agreed to let her return to her job. So, she will be attending a community college to finish up a few classes and work part time before attending OT school either at Florida Hospital or Greenville Tech.
She made some great friends that she will remember for a lifetime. It was an great opportunity to attend SAU. You find what you are looking for as along as you are looking for the right things.
She has picked up many healthy habits like exercising. She loves to swim now, she took a swimming class and really enjoys it. She also loved the Health for Life class, the teacher is awesome and she has learned many things she can apply to her life. She especially enjoyed a Dermatologist speaking to them and took many notes.
I'm glad she is coming home, I have missed her. I pray God is leading her in the path she should take in life. I'm sure she will miss her friends and time at SAU, and may not realize the extent of that until she is gone.
