Story Abstract

Story

I can't believe I'm already back at school. Christmas break flew by! In a way, I was ready to come back and see my friends again. However, the idea of more homework to do never exactly thrills me...

The new year is already off to a great start (in my humble opinion) with classes being cancelled Monday and Tuesday so far of this second week due to snow! About 8-10 inches have fallen here in Collegedale (which seems like a record). It truly is a winter wonderland! Along with no classes comes endless fun: sledding, snowball fights, and for the brave people, drifting in their cars. After all this fun, I'm not sure how I'll be able to go back to classes.

Unfortunately, with the season of cold weather many of us get stuck inside for long periods of time. This begins to have a negative effect: winter blues, cabin fever, etc. I can definitely vouch for this. Being couped up inside brings a certain gloominess. Thankfully having friends and a God who cares brings me through these rough times. The snow, the cold weather, winter itself will soon fade away, and spring will come again! So enjoy the beautiful snow and hang on for the warmer days that are just around the corner.
