Lately I've been feeling the crunch from my classes. It's that feeling of your never-ending list of things to do closing in on you, and you're not exactly sure if you can withstand the weight. That would be me right now. I know that even though I have a pretty busy schedule it's not completely as bad as some others have it. Nevertheless, spring break (which starts this Friday!) will be a much needed time to rest and get away from school.
I also came to the amazing, joyful, incredible, fantastic realization that this semester is halfway over. There is only two months of school left. Two months! In two months I will be free from homework, stress, sleepless nights, and more! Of course, even as wonderful as that will be, I will still miss all of my friends and the great memories we've made while here at Southern.
In the meantime, I was thinking about all of the unrest that is happening in Egypt and the rest of the middle East. Many people don't realize it, but we are seeing history being made right before our very eyes! It's easy for many of us to get caught up with the business of life over here and not even pay attention to the rest of the world. However, what a story to tell your kids! More and more is happening all around us, more and more history is being made. Sometimes the history that's happening around us is scary. But although we don't know what the future holds, we know Who holds the future.
