Story

Well I've slacked off. I got so caught up in homework and who knows what else that I forgot to blog last week! But at least I'm back now. I made sure I didn't forget this time!

This past week seemed to fly by even though I don't really understand why it did. Nothing much happened. Wait. Something did happen! This past Thursday I went to my very last convocation for the semester! I am free! However, on a more sad note, I haven't been keeping up with going to worships and now I'm hustling to get all the required worship credits needed before December 6 (I think that's the date). At least I have one thing out of my way to worry about.

Southern has been experiencing some weird weather. Last week and the beginning of this week we had some freezing cold weather (which apaprently came down from Canada!), and then all of a sudden it was gone and we had beautiful weather again! The weather here is very 'bipolar'.

Wednesday night Southern became full with guests from across the country and even Canada and Puerto Rico as the national gymnastics acrofest was held here! Teams were able to participate in a two day gymnastics clinic. Saturday night all the teams came together for a final show to demonstrate their talents. The gym was filled with a sold-out crowd. I was lucky to find a seat since I came in "late" (which was half an hour before the show started). There were about 29 different performences, and I had so much fun watching them all, including my old school Highland Academy. You can call me biased, but I personally think they did fantastic! As, of course, did our own home team-the Gym-Masters! I have several friends on Gym-Masters, and 11 of them on the team are originally from Highland so I was very proud to see them out there performing so well. It was a fantastic night, full of adrenaline, excitement, a LOT of people, and fantastic performances.

Now, the weekend is just a couple hours away from being over :( But I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving break next week for the chance to go home and visit my family! Until then, I'm off to wade my way through more papers, tests, quizzes, homework, projects...
