About us: The student wellness program is designed to educate and inspire young adults to get the most out of their academic experience. The best way to do that is to get sufficient sleep, effective nutrition, lots of exercise, and plenty of spiritual nurture through prayer and Bible study.
Events: Currently we are excited about the "Zoe (zo-ay') Transformation." The word zoe (zo-ay') has Greek origin and it's the word for "life" found in John 10:10, "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly" (NKJV). The word means: absolute fullness of life, a life real and genuine, a life active and vigorous, a life devoted to God - blessed. It's a beautiful word that truly encompasses a complete life that can only be found in God. This challenge will have two components: a whole foods diet and a spiritual component - prayer! We will also have four blood assurance drives, four cooking classes, and a health fair with Patton Towers that you can get involved with. If you want to sign up to participate in an event email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Become involved: Join us at any of the above events or participate as a member of the Student Wellness Committee and participate in dynamic activities that motivate others to be fit for the kingdom!
