VPN for Employees

A virtual private network (VPN) connection provides remote access to Southern's network.

A VPN connection is useful for employees who need off-campus access (or access from somewhere other than their regular workstation) to information stored on one of Southern's secure servers.

Employees may set up and connect to a VPN with their Southern user name and password.

Setting Up a VPN Connection

To set up your VPN connection, select the operating system on which you wish to set up the remote access and follow the instructions provided. You must first be connected to the Internet.
