Story Abstract

Gene Stewart has been hired to teach at East Hamilton High School where he did some of his student teaching.

Story

Gene Stewart was graduated December 15 with a bachelors degree in Physics with secondary teaching certification.  Fortunately his job search was already complete!  One of his student teaching placements during the Fall 2010 semester was at nearby East Hamilton Middle/High School.  This placement turned out to be an extended job interview which culminated in a job offer at the beginning of December.  He is now teaching two Bridge Math classes (general math classes for seniors) in addition to an advanced algebra and trigonometry class.

Gene joins Jason Wholers ('97) as the second department alumnus to teach at East Hamilton High, where Jason teaches physics.
