Barry Tryon returned to the School of Religion in January 2011 where he started his theological training more than 30 years earlier.  Barry's experience includes Executive Secretary/Ministerial Director of the Pennsylvania Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.  He has served as pastor of the Hampden Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church in Reading, PA, the Philadelphia Boulevard Seventh-day Adventist Church in Philadelphia, PA, and the Cross City SDA Church in Cross City, Florida.

Barry is married to Lillian Boles Tryon and together they have two grown sons, Daniel and David.
