International Students

International students are required to purchase the UnitedHealthcare insurance policy. The school's insurance policy is an accident and sickness policy designed for students and offered at a lower cost than most traditional policies.

This UnitedHealthcare policy automatically comes with a global assistance plan called FrontierMEDEX. International students studying at a U.S. institution are eligible for this coverage, both on campus and while traveling in a country that is not their country of origin.

Accessing this coverage is as easy as making a single phone call to the Operations Center for help at any time. The call will be answered by one of their medically certified crisis managers, who can put in motion a vast number of emergency resources. The FrontierMEDEX number is on the back of the UnitedHealthcare insurance ID card.
