Working with administrators, faculty, and development staff, Southern Adventist University seeks to provide expertise, services, and tools to successfully connect and partner the university with foundations, businesses, and industry.

Student Scholarship Fund
Many alumni remember the time when students could work their way through Southern. Those days were over in the mid-'80s, when average wages and the cost of education extended beyond the reasonable reach of even the most determined student worker.

These days, making ends meet calls for grants, scholarships, and loans to supplement work. In a typical academic year—even after financial-aid eligibility is determined—more than 100 students desiring to attend Southern come up short.

This is where the Student Scholarship Fund can make a world of difference!

For every $2,500 we have available in the Student Scholarship Fund, we can make sure that at least one student is able to bridge the financial gap and attend at Southern.

Named Scholarships and Endowments
Endowed scholarships, loans, and awards help make possible a Southern Adventist University education for students who cannot afford it on their own. The individuals and families who have established named scholarships and endowments have made the difference for hundreds of young people.

If you would like to establish a scholarship, endowment, loan, or award, please email Geovanny Ragsdale at gragsdale@southern.edu or call 423.236.2472.
