*Before you can graduate with a computer science degree, you have to be accepted into
the School of Computing. Simply calling yourself a computer science major doesn’t
mean you’re in. Once you start at Southern, you have to complete English 101 and 102,
earn a “C” or better in at least 6 hours of computer courses, maintain an overall
2.25 GPA or higher, and earn at least a 2.25 GPA in your computing classes.
