One Incense Pillar

The Enshi Grand Canyon stretches for dozens of kilometers and features sheer limestone cliffs, deep gorges, stone pillars, ground fissures, waterfalls, and subtropical forests. One Incense Pillar (Chinese: 一炷香) is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the canyon. The karst pillar rises from the canyon floor and is about 492 feet tall, roughly the height of a 40-to-50-story building, with the width of 13 to 19 feet. Its tall, slender shape resembles a burning incense stick.
