Silent Study

Silent Study is located on the McKee Library's second floor, beside Student Success and Retention Services. Talking is not permitted in the Silent Study.

Monday - Thursday
7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

SILENT STUDY RULES

LIMITED COMPUTER USE

Laptop use is limited to non-typing activities (for example reading an ebook). You may not use your laptop to type a paper or email, as typing creates a distracting noise.

SILENT CELL PHONE USE

Phones and mobile devices must not disturb other people. Silent texting only.

NO FOOD, DRINK, OR GUM

No exceptions. Please leave the Silent Study to eat or drink.

INDEPENDENT STUDY ONLY

Please use the collaborative floor or a study room for group study.

QUIET ENTRY AND EXIT

Please be as silent as possible when entering and leaving the Silent Study.
