Electronics Lab

The Electronics Lab supports courses in the areas of digital logic, computer architecture, circuit analysis, microcontroller design, and embedded systems. Students learn how to use electrical test and measurement equipment, prototype digital and analog electrical circuits, and design and assemble circuit boards.

Fifteen student workstations each include a computer, digital oscilloscope, arbitrary function generator, digital multimeter, DC power supply, and FPGA development board. Additional equipment in the lab includes logic analyzers, microcontroller programmers and development boards, and soldering and desoldering equipment.

This space is also what we call hybrid, which means that half the room is dedicated to the lab equipment, and the other side is a dedicated classroom space. Having the room set up this way also for professors and students to easily jump back and forth between lecture and lab work.
