The 2 schools are split about 20 minutes apart, the elementary school is located in the town and the high school is just outside of the town. Palau is an amazing location for anyone interested in being a teacher and making a big difference in the lives of others.

- Average Fundraising Goal: ~$3,500. Prices may vary. See Student Missions Office.
- Timeline: Full year preferred. School year starts in early August and runs until late May.
- Location: Palau is a small island in Micronesia with a population of about 20,000. Palau is a very diverse nation with about 12,000 natives and the rest of the population made up of people from the Philippines, China, Korea, Japan, and Bangladesh. Palau is located east of the Philippines and north of Australia. Palau’s economy is reliant on tourism for scuba diving and touring some of the sites from World War II. - Living Accommodations: There are several apartments on the campus of the high school designated for missionaries. Each apartment is air conditioned and has a kitchen and at least 1 bathroom and houses around 4 people. Washer and Dryer are also provided.
- Language: Almost entirely English but some people speak Palauan.
- Food: Missionaries are responsible for each meal. The school has a cafeteria where you can buy meals for about $3 per meal or you can cook your own food in your apartment. Missionaries are given a stipend twice a month that can be used for food and other needs.
- Requirements: Visa, upon arrival
- Elementary Teachers: Grades Kindergarten to 8th grade. High school teacher: Subjects such as Math, English, Science, PE, Health, Computers, etc.
