JERRY LEE HOLT STUDENT MISSIONARY SCHOLARSHIP

Southern Adventist University alumni Jerry Lee Holt, ’78, and Ketty Nelson-Holt ’76, ’79 have a passionate desire to help Southern Adventist University students complete missionary service in the restricted 10/40 window of Asia, South America, and Africa.
Scholarship of up to $2,500 per student, with a preference for:

• A student preparing to serve for at least two semesters of missionary service in the restricted 10/40 window (Asia, South America, or Africa)
• A student with financial need
• A student with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
• Completion of a 1,000-word essay
• A negative urine drug and alcohol test is required

• Essays will be reviewed and awardees selected by the Office of Ministry and Missions and forwarded to Student Finance.
• In addition to tuition, funds from this scholarship may be used to cover student transportation to and from the mission location and for the student to acquire proficiency in the language(s) of the country where they will serve. Funds may also be used to cover the required drug and alcohol test.
• All scholarship recipients will be notified by letter or email.
