Memories of the 2025 Gala

Our fourth annual A Taste of Southern event was held at The Chattanoogan Hotel on October 2, 2025. Hundreds of guests enjoyed pre-event activities showcasing Southern's archaeology and engineering programs, as well as the student blacksmithing club. During dinner, President Ken Shaw presented three community-focused awards to local individuals and nonprofits. The Annie Moses Band closed out A Taste of Southern with an exceptional performance. More than $182,000 was raised to support the university’s endowed scholarship for first-generation college students.
