Southern Adventist University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.
Kinesiology is the scientific study of physical activity and its impact on health,
society and the quality of life. With a Kinesiology major, you can combine your interest
of the human body with one of the emphasis areas of Exercise Science, Sport Management,
or Recreation. Classes will vary with your chosen emphasis, but your use of the kinesiology
degree depends largely on your interest and skills and area of degree you want to
pursue.
A Kinesiology degree gives you subject specific knowledge in areas such as nutrition, biomechanics, physiology and the psychology of exercise as well as teaches you hands-on techniques and therapy.
