ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT AND PLANNING

Advising
School of Social Work advisors are committed to assisting students in the area of academic planning. In planning their schedules all students should carefully follow the instructions in the Catalog and recommendations of their advisor, and should print a degree audit from the web.

In the event of a discrepancy between an advisor’s word and the Catalog, final interpretation of graduation requirements rests with the Records and Advisement Office. An effective tool to use in registering is your Timeline in Student Planning. This is also where you can look at your official Degree Audit.
