SUMMER HONORS INSITUTE
Southern Adventist University’s Southern Scholars Honors Program is offering a three-day
Honors Institute August 2016. It will provide an opportunity for high-achieving second-
and third-year high school/academy students to experience honors learning. It is required
to have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.7 to apply, although some cases can be evaluated
individually. We will do uniquely honors-style interdisciplinary and extracurricular
activities focusing on public art, food ethics, and public transportation. Cost is
$150 per student, and scholarships are available. If you are a senior, please consider
applying to the Southern Scholars program, if you have applied to Southern Adventist
University and have been accepted.
