Steps to Success

Career development is a lifelong journey that involves steps such as improving skills, choosing a career, and making other related decisions that direct you toward the goal of discovering your calling linked with the ideal job.

As part of Student Support Services at Southern, the Life Calling and Career Services department offers and promotes steps along that path which can guide one’s career discernment. The steps are part of the adventure and development. In fact, some have likened the career path to a winding road or a roller coaster – full of twists and turns and uncertainties. However, by exploring those steps to success, students can move closer to learning who they are meant to be.
