Cohutta Triathlon

Join us in the Fall of 2026 for the newest iteration of the Cohutta Triathlon presented by Southern's School of Health and Kinesiology! Everyone and anyone is invited to participate in the sprint triathlon and compete for cash prizes. The event will take place at the Cohutta Springs Conference center, in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

400m Swim
Our swim stage is in the gorgeous lake surrounding the conference center. Water temperature is typically in the high 70s.

21km Bike
The bike stage is an out and back on rural, pristine cycling roads with a total of ~700 feet of elevation gain. The route will not be closed, but is lightly traveled and will be thoroughly marked and marshaled. You can see a stage map and download a .gpx here.
