Judgment calls cannot be protested. Rule interpretations may be reviewed if brought to the supervisor during the game.

Teams must typically:

  • Meet a minimum sportsmanship rating
  • Avoid excessive forfeits
  • Qualify based on standings
What do winners receive?
Champions usually receive intramural shirts and bragging rights across campus.

Forfeits & Defaults

What is a forfeit?
If a team does not show up or cannot play, the game is recorded as a loss.
What is a default?
A default is when a team notifies intramurals in advance that they cannot play—this avoids harsher penalties than a forfeit.
